Health Service To The Village Penyambi

LOMBOK TENGAH (08/08) - PT Angkasa Pura I(Ltd) Lombok International Airport had visited Area Penyambi, Village Pengembur, Sub district Pujut, Regency Central Lombok to provide free health services for the surrounding community. This free health services were an evidence of concern to the community, especially for the area around the airport. This activity was supported by the Health Community Center Sengkol as medical experts and Ambassadors Airport 2016 of Lombok International Airport.

This free health service activity began at 9:00 am, housed in one of the cadre’s house in the village Penyambi. This Free health care was intended for the children under five years old, pregnant women and the elderly. In addition to free health checks, PT. Angkasa Pura I (Ltd) Lombok International Airport also provided vitamin A, Anthelmintic, a box of milk and biscuits for each children under five years. Pregnant women were also given special milk and tonic for their fetuses, while the elderly were given medicines and sum-sum porridge. Other services provided were health screening for eye and mouth (teeth) health.

The community’s enthusiastic were high, it can be seen from the number who came reached 117 for toddlers, 15 for pregnant women, and 86 for the elderly. This activity was expected to help the local community in order to be more motivated to live in a healthy lifestyle, did prevention of disease and understood what actions need to be done during the emergency conditions.
